SANJAY PANDEY

Dr. Sanjay K. Pandey is the Founder and Chief Scientific Officer of Triangulum Biopharma. Dr. Pandey is a prolific researcher with over 25 years of research experience spanning Metabolism, Oncology, and Muscle diseases. He has co-authored over 25 peer-reviewed publications, 70+ abstracts, and several books/chapters. In addition, Dr. Pandey has been listed as an inventor on many patents.

Previously, Dr. Pandey led diverse projects in various therapeutic areas at Ionis Pharmaceuticals (Carlsbad, California). During his 14 plus year tenure, he developed notable collaborations with academic institutions including the University of Rochester, the University of Maryland, the University of California – San Francisco, the University of Florida, the University of Laval (Quebec, Canada), Massachusetts General Hospital, and Harvard Medical School. He also collaborated with biopharmaceutical firms such as Eli Lilly, Amgen, Adipogen (Australia), Sanofi/Genzyme, AstraZeneca and BiogenIdec. Dr. Pandey’s pre-clinical research led to the identification of several compounds that advanced to clinical trials.

Dr. Pandey holds a PhD in Physiology from the University of Montreal, Canada, Master degrees in Biochemistry from the Banaras Hindu University (BHU), India and the University of Ottawa, Canada and a BSc (with Honors) in Chemistry from BHU. Following his PhD, Dr. Pandey was a Fogarty International Fellow at the National Institute on Aging, a division of the National Institutes of Health, in Maryland, USA.
